This website contains reports and other resources produced by REL West during WestEd’s 2006–2011 contract with the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences. Please see the new REL West website for work and resources developed under the 2012–2016 contract.

The Regional Educational Laboratory West (REL West) at WestEd, part of a national network of 10 RELs,                  is a trusted source of research-based knowledge for education practitioners, administrators, and policymakers                in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah.

WestEd is again home to REL West!

WestEd had held the contract to serve as the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) in the West since the inception of the program, and has again won the contract from the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences (IES) to provide technical assistance and research support to the region through 2017. Stay tuned for details on how we will partner with LEAs, SEAs, and other researchers to address pressing educational needs!
