WEBINAR (archived): What Happens to High School Dropouts Who Return to School?

December 08, 2009

Access the archived webinar:

The webinar included a discussion of findings from Reenrollment of High School Dropouts in a Large, Urban School District, an Issues & Answers report prepared by REL West that follows a cohort of first-time 9th graders in one large urban school district from 2001-02 to 2005-06 and documents dropout, reenrollment, and graduation rates. A better understanding of the challenges, demographics, reenrollment histories, and outcomes of reenrollees can provide educators and policymakers with critical information to shape dropout prevention and intervention practices and policies.
