Primary Researchers: Andrea Venezia

REL West researchers responded to a request from the Academic Senate of the California Community Colleges (CCC) to analyze the amount of variation in the student learning outcomes (SLOs) in freshman composition courses across the community college system. REL West researchers developed a coding scheme and categorized SLO data for 57 of the 110 colleges, after calibrating among raters and consulting with the Senate throughout the process.
